Pauline Flowers went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at the age of 92. She was the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Blanche Warren Lowther of Folkston, Ga. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who loved the Lord. Pauline was a retired school teacher from, Charlton County where she taught for 36 years and a lifetime member of the Georgia Retired Teachers Association. She also taught Sunday School for many years. She was always faithful to her Church. She loved to read her Bible, quilt, and work in the garden. She was a member of Rising Fawn Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, O. K. Lowther; sister, Vandilla Lowther Heath; and her husband, Oscar Flowers. She is survived by her son, Alan (Sarah) Flowers; four grandchildren, Amy (Lawrence) Henry, Rome, Ga., Elizabeth (Charles) Wilson, Rossville, Jonathan Folds, Trenton, Ga., Alisha (Paul) Wilbanks; five great-grandchildren, Jayden Folds, Luke Henry, Jacob, Colton and Olivia Wilbanks, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. EST Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at Rising Fawn Baptist Church with Brother Tommy Crider and Brother Johnny Wooten officiating.
