Wendell Wyrick

Wendell Curtis Wyrick, 71, went to be with his Lord Saturday morning, Jan. 18, 2014. He was a lifelong residence of the Rossville area and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, VFW Post 3679, Fort Oglethorpe, a veteran of the VietNam War, and the Hardees Old Coggards, retired from DuPont and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Virbie Wofford Wyrick; mother-in-law, Mama Logan. He is survived by His wife of 49 years, Cleo Diane Logan Wyrick; three sisters, Nancy (J.W) Adams, Cleveland, Ga., Joyce Tudor, Hixson, Judy Huffman, Live Oak, Fla.; two brothers, Edward Lavon (Joyce) Wyrick, Harrison, Donald (Elizabeth) Wyrick, Hixson; brother and sister-in-law, Donnie (Beverly) Logan, Bobbie Taylor, of Rock Springs; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe. Services at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sam Riggs and Rev. Leroy Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. Online register book available at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are by W.L.
