Charmaine Crittenden

Charmaine Jean Crittenden, 50, of East Ridge, lost her on-going battle with cancer Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at home with her family around her. Miss. Crittenden was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta Martin Crittenden; and her father, James Terrell Crittenden; grandparents, Henry Clay Crittenden and Evelyn Hay Crittenden, of Chattanooga; and grandparents, Harmon H. Martin and Verna Mae Martin, of Cedar Bluff, Ala.. Survivors include her brother, Thomas Terrell Crittenden, of East Ridge; her aunt, Jean Crittenden Pace and uncle, Ed Pace, of Rogersville, Tenn.; and cousins, Steve Pace and wife, Linda; and Stan Pace and wife, Kim; along with her uncle Ronald H. Martin, of Cedar Bluff, Ala. Charmaine was born Aug. 20, 1963, at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, Fla. She was a graduate of East Ridge High School in Chattanooga, and a member of East Ridge Baptist Church. To all that knew her loved her dearly and admired her dedicated work ethic and her never-ending zest for life. A Visitation and Memorial will be held at the Chattanooga Funeral Home East Chapel, 404 S. Moore Road from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014. Charmaine will be interred at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson. In lieu of flowers, please make your donations to Hearth Hospice Care of Chattanooga or the National Cancer Society.
