Dewayne Cochran, 58, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on Nov. 23, 1955 to the late Acie Truss and the late Willie Mae Cochran. Dewayne was educated in the Public Schools of Talladega, Ala., and Chattanooga. He was formerly employed by DANA of Talladega. Dewayne was a member of Alton Park Church of Christ before moving to Toledo, Ohio. Dewayne was preceded in death by his parents, a special cousin, Lilly Ann Dennard; grandparents, aunts, uncles and other relatives. Those left to cherish Dewaynes precious memories, his devoted daughter, Michelle (Herman) King; stepdaughter, Jessica Woods; grandchildren, Zand Hayes, and Jamelia Wilson; great-grandson, Zahiem Dewayne Hayes; brothers and sisters, Carolyn (David) Bins, Mark Vincent, Terry Parker, Eula Bell, Cheryl, Randy and Jerry Truss; a very special aunt, Bessie Mae Woods; aunts and uncles, Lucille (John) Jones, Arthur and Alfred Cochran, Nathaniel Starr; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and many, many friends. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at Alton Park Church of Christ with Minister Ronald King and Bro. Phillip Henderson officiating.
