Melanie Richardson

Melanie Manley Richardson, 61, of Lakesite, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at home. She graduated from the University of Georgia with an A.B. degree in journalism. She was a member of St. Albans Episcopal Church. Survivors include her husband, John L. Richardson, of Lakesite; daughters, Sarah Grace (Richard) Clark, of Hixson, Rachel Leigh Richardson, of Hixson; brothers, Gerry (Terry) Manley and Ted (Linda) Manley; sisters, Jacquie (Jim) Colman Manley, Becky (Russ) Jedinak, Pam (Doug) Davis, Debbie (Sonny) Jefcoat; grandchildren, Joseph and Eli Clark. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at St. Albans Episcopal Church with Father Mark Bigley officiating. Visitation is from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at St. Albans Episcopal Church. There will be a reception in the Parish Hall after the service.
