Michael Soteriou

Michael John Soteriou, 54, formerly of Rayland, Ohio died on Oct. 8, 2013, at his home in Harrison. Michael was born on June 25, 1959 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, to the late Nicholas P. Soteriou Jr. and Virginia Dobranetski Soteriou. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiltonsville, Ohio and Basilica St. Peter and St. Paul, Tennessee, a member of the Ohio Bar Association, a graduate of Case Western Reserve, and worked for several Federal Judges in the Tennessee court system. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nicholas Soteriou, Lela Soteriou, John and Mary Dobranetski; and his aunts, Stella Moffo, Pauline Repka and Lillian Dobranetski. Michael is survived by five cousins. A memorial service will be held at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, Ohio, at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, with Monsignor Mullen officiating.
