Frank L. Burell, 87 years old, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014. He is preceded in death by parents, Frank and Ada Burell; daughter, Toni Potts; and grandson, Josh Ottinger. He is survived by wife, Patricia Scoggins Burell; daughter, Patti McGatha (Guy); son, Chip Burell (Cindy); daughters, Susan Burell, Sherry Yother; son, Clay Burell; sister, Ulna (Hubert) Black; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. EST today, Jan. 31, and service at 1 p.m. EST Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe, and a private burial following at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Hixson.
