Billy Moses

Billy Moses, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 29, 2014. He was retired from Shaw Industries and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by stepsons, Perry Lamar Culver and Michael Lee Culver; parents, John and Lurla Moses; two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Bettye Moses; daughter, Teresa (Kurt) Stough; stepson, Anthony (Donna) Culver; brothers, Edward (Willodean) Moses and Calvin Moses; sister, Sue Lanier; daughter-in-law, Koumal Culver; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at the New Home Cemetery in New Home, Ala. The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, in the funeral home. Arrangements by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral & Crematory located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
