Erie Williams

Erie Nealie Williams, 95, formerly of DeKalb County, Ala., passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014, at NHC-Fort Oglethorpe. She is survived by her daughter, Nell Bowen of Rossville; son, Jimmy and Ben Williams of Chattanooga; sister, Norma Griffin; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husand, Blease Williams, sons, Berlon Williams; daughter, Delores Sutton; brothers, Osborn and Lloyd Shankles; sisters, Elaine Cole and Emily Hall. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. CDT Wednesday, July 2, from Kerby Funeral Home chapel with Brother Channing Eleton officiating. Burial follows in Green Haven Memorial gardens. The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. CDT today, July 1, at Kerby Funeral Home.
