Annice Wooden

Annice Marie Wooden, 65, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014, in a local hospital. She was a member of the East Chattanooga Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Sr. and Artie Wooden; brothers, Leon King and Raymond Wooden Jr. Survivors include her son, Christopher Wooden; daughters, Tameka Wooden and Chevon Wooden; 23 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Gregory Wooden; sister, Karolyn Wooden; aunt, Lily Sturdivant, all of Chattanooga; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; best friends, Frankie Smartt, Gurtie Miller, Erskine Starkey, Audrey Elder; and many other friends. The body will lie in state after 12:30 p.m. today, July 2, at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be noon Thursday in the chapel with Pastor Donald Rollins as the officiant and Apostle Aaron L. Cody as the eulogist. Burial: Forest Hills Cemetery.
