Dexter "Deck" Talley Sr., 60, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014. Dexter is survived by his wife of 38 years, Anita Talley; children, Monica, Duana and Dexter Jr.; four grandchildren; father, Norman Talley Sr.; brothers, Norman (Sadie) Talley Jr., Anthoney Talley; sisters, Remon (Rodney) McGee and Arlease Foy; aunt, Doris Paris; uncle, Alton Hall; host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, in the Chapel. Interment in National Cemetery. The body will lie in state after noon today and the family will receive friends from 67 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
