Franklin Ruckman

Franklin "Frank" L. Ruckman, 78, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014, surrounded by family. He was a saved member of Suck Creek Baptist Church and a member of the Chicago Truck Drivers Union. He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Helen Ruckman; two sons, Jerry and Jeff Ruckman; aunt and uncle, Pearl and George Semerling. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Betty Headrick Ruckman; three daughters, Denise Kollias, of Florida, Dennette Schmidt, of Wisconsin, Darlene Babzioch, of Grays Lake, Ill.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends 5-9 p.m. today, July 8, 2014. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kellogg and Rev. Randy Chestnutt officiating. Interment will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson. Arrangements are by Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home, 423-658-7777.
