Freddie Stockman

Freddie Lee Stockman, 70, died Sunday evening, July 6, 2014, at his home surrounded by family. He was a heavy equipment mechanic and employed by Bobcat of Chattanooga for a number of years and then being self-employed continuing to mechanic as Freds Bobcat Service before retiring in December 2013. He was of the Baptist faith and served as pastor and associate pastor for several local churches. He was preceded in death by his parents, True H. and Annie Mae Martin Stockman. Surviving include his wife, Gloria G. Stockman, of Wildwood, Ga.; daughter Angela (Kevin) Baker, of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; sons, Jeff (Sandra) Stockman and Tim (Susan) Stockman, both of Wildwood, Ga.; grandchildren, Jocelyn Vasquez, Tristen Vasquez, Christina Stockman and Sarena Stockman; brother, Bill Stockman; sisters, Mary Nell Scott and Bonnie Wallace; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel with Rev. David Crane officiating. Interment will follow in Henagar Methodist Cemetery, Henagar, Ala.
