Linell Finley Sr.

Linell "Bobby-Popcorn" Finley Sr., formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014, in a Nashville healthcare center. He was formerly employed by Quaker Oats Co. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Finley Sr., Daisy Finley, Josephine Hood; father, John Finley Jr.; uncles, Joe Hood and John "Cap" Hood. Survivors include his sons, Linell "Pierre" Finley, Trory "Troy" (Carla) Finley and Duston Finley; daughters, Fransetta "Franny" Finley and Nishua Finley, all of Chattanooga; five grandchildren; mother, Gladys Hood Finley; brother, Thomas Finley; sister, Charlaine (John) Finley; aunt, Elizabeth Finley, all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends. The body will lie-in-state at 9 a.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. Grant Harris as the eulogist.
