Gene Patterson

Gene C. Patterson, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Bertha Carpenter; son, Scottie Patterson; grandson, Levi Patterson; and brothers, Junior Thomas, Carl Carpenter and Ed Carpenter. She is survived by her husband, Thurman L. Patterson; brother, Carlin (Marilyn) Carpenter; sister, Joyce (Aulton) Phillips; children, Joella (Larry) Cox, Kenneth (Tina) Patterson, Cheryl (Delbert) Frederick, Wayne (Marci) Patterson, Tonya (Chuck) Martin; grandchildren, Charles Ashley Jr., Travis Ashley, Chayton Patterson, Kegan Frederick, Keely Frederick, Kody Patterson, Kaleb Patterson, Korbin Patterson, Kailyn Patterson, Emily (Joey) Conner, Katelyn Martin and Jessica Martin; and a great-grandchild, Robby Conner. The funeral service will be 3 p.m. today, July 12, 2014, graveside, in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, with the Rev. Al Kaschimer officiating. Visitation is 1 to 2:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
