Elwanda Murray Elwanda F. Murray, 91, of Ooltewah, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014. She was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, William C. Murray Sr.; son, William C. (Bill) Murray Jr.; great-grandson, Cris Painter; three brothers, Fred Gillespie, Kenneth Freeman, Jim Gillespie; and half-sister, Glenda Wilkerson. Survivors include son, Donald R. (Martha) Murray of Ooltewah; daughter, Linda (Terry) Holland of Knoxville; daughter-in-law Gwen Murray; half-brothers, Gene Freeman, Jesse Freeman, and Ross Freeman; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many adopted family members. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mack Arnold and Pastor Brian Cannon, officiating.
