Shane Frizzell

Jason "Shane" Frizzell, 41, of the Chattanooga area, went to heaven on Monday, July 7, 2014. He was born on August 18, 1972, and was preceded in death by his mother, Cindy Carol Hannah (Lenoir City). He was the proud father of twin daughters, Brandi Caitlyn and Logan Marie Frizzell, age 17, 2014 graduates of Lenoir City High School. Shane graduated from Chattanooga City High School in 1990 with his lifelong friend of 28 years, brother, Todd Maynor. Shane considered Patty Sue Clark his adoptive mother, as she was his and his mother's lifelong friend and stepped up to the Nanny role for his girls. Our Daddy passed peacefully in his sleep at home (Soddy-Daisy) ending the battle against diabetes. He had fought proudly against diabetes, heart disease, and kidney problems for many years. Shane never met a stranger and had many friends he considered family; he will be sadly missed, because he lived and loved whole -heartedly. He was the biggest Tennessee football Volunteer fan and was verified having orange blood. Celebration of his life will be starting at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, with services at 7 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace. Pastor Micah Nicholas will be officating. All are encouraged to celebrate wearing casual Tennessee attire. We are thankful for Todd Maynor, Patty Sue Clark, Stephanie Estes Frizzell (mother of the two daughters), Erlanger Dialysis Clinic, the Soddy-Daisy Police Department (Officer Lee), and everyone else for their time, thoughts, and prayers. In lieu of flowers, donations to Central United Methodist Church (CUMC), 301 Hickory Creek Road, Lenoir City, TN 37771 (centralmethodist.com/give) in honor of Logan and Brandi Frizzell.
