Stroud Thomison

Stroud Mckinney Thomison, 58, died on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Ga. He lived in Marietta and was a native of Lookout Mountain, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Locke and Mary Anna Mckinney Thomison, of Lookout Mountain. Stroud attended Baylor School and City High School. He earned a bachelors degree in Drama at the University of Texas, Austin. He was employed by the U.S. Department of Treasury, Atlanta. He is survived by his wife, Nora B. Thomison; sisters, Kathleen T. Kimsey and Greer Thomison; nieces, Anna K. Edwards and Greer Kimsey; and his beloved dog Jack. Services will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014. Visitation begins at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a graveside service at noon at Forest Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Humane Society of Cobb County, 148 S.
