Lyle Claiborne

Lyle Claiborne, 86, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014, at his home. He was retired from Dixie Yarn where he worked for 47 years. After holding several positions he retired as the director of research and development. He was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church where he had served as president of the board. He was also a Steamboat Pilot for the Julia Belle Swain Steamboat. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lottie Claiborne. Survivors include two sons, Ashley Claiborne and Alex Claiborne; and grandchildren, Haley, Kayla and Cameron Claiborne. All services will be held privately.
