Ferris Robinson

Ferris Albert Robinson, 75, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 17, 2014 at his home. He was born April 12, 1939 in Crab Orchard, Tenn. to the late Robert L. and Ethel Pippin Robinson. He retired from the Catoosa County Sheriffs Department after many years of service. Ferris was a member of Pathway Baptist Church and the Tommy Broom Sunday School Class, and a former member of the O.E.S. #365 and the Masonic Lodge #202. His loving wife of 54 years, Marjorie "Midge" Robinson survives him. A graveside service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 1 p.m.Saturday at Mt. Vernon Cemetery with Rev. Grady Cooper officiating. Active pallbearers will be Johnny Barefield, Don Chambers, Charles Roach, Kevin Kerr, Russell Kinsey and Jim Chattin. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Hospice of Chattanooga and for so much love and compassion and also the staff at Memorial Hospital, 6th floor employees.
