Jerry Eledge

Jerry Lee Eledge, 65, of Georgetown, Tenn., formerly of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014. A native and longtime resident of the Chattanooga area, Mr. Eledge was a co-owner of Eledge Wood Flooring and a member of Covenant Baptist Church in Cleveland. He loved hunting, fishing, and dancing, and was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford andDaisy Eledge; sons, Clifford and Terry Lee Eledge; and sister, Teresa Thompson. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Kay Eledge; children, Elizabeth McCary, Chattanooga, Virginia Peters, Tunnel Hill, and Jerry Lee Eledge Jr., Chattanooga; stepchildren, Paul Blevins, Mook Brown, and Sharane Brown, all of Georgetown; eight grandchildren; five sisters; one brother; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at noon Monday in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Gary Higgins officiating. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
