John Andrews Jr.

John B. Andrews Jr., 68, of Ringgold, Ga., departed his earthly home and entered his heavenly home on Monday, July 21, 2014. John was born on Jan. 11, 1946 in Chattanooga to the late Lucille and John B. Andrews Sr. He was a graduate of East Ridge High School and retired from TVA after 25 years of service. John was an avid NASCAR fan and loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynda Andrews. John is survived by his current wife, Elaine Spring Andrews; children, Christy Andrews Huggins and husband, Charlie and Robert Craig Andrews; grandchildren, John Sawyer and Judson Martin Huggins; stepchildren, David Wright and wife, Melissa, Scott Ahlgren and Richard Spring; stepgrandchildren, Hayleigh and Willow Wright. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. A funeral service for John will be held at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
