Kathy Levie

Kathy Hughes Levie, 57. Our beloved wife, mother and friend passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Walter Hill "Chip" Levie Jr.; her sons, Walter Hill "Trey" Levie III and Tyler Kellum Levie; her mother, Christine Hughes; her brother, Gary Hughes; and her sister, Priscilla Crownover. She was predeceased by her father, James Hughes, and her brother, Marion Hughes. Kathy enjoyed working in her garden, preparing meals for First Baptist Church of LaFayette, and volunteering with Kids 4 Christ. She was also a devoted member of Women on Mission and a member of Marilyn Ransom's Sunday School Class. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at First Baptist Church of LaFayette at 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 28. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Stained Glass Fund of the First Baptist Church of LaFayette. The arrangments are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
