Charlcie "Dean" Lockhart, 76, of Signal Mountain, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014, at her home. She was an employee for the Hamilton County School food service department for over 34 years before her retirement. She loved her job of feeding what she called all her babies. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lockhart; son, Don Lockhart; parents, Eddie and Maudie Baggett; several brothers and sisters. Dean had attended Lone Oak Church of God. Survivors include two daughters, Judy (Mickey) Whitmire and Jackie (Richie) Ellis; and daughter- in-law, Diana Lockhart, all of Signal Mountain; grandchildren, Marisa (Gannon) Spangler, Christy (Keith) Thurman, Renee (Matt) Cogburn, Baylee Ridge, Winter (Bobby) Nelson, Brian Smith and Alisha Green; great-grandchildren: Tyler and Kendra Spangler, Savanah and Garett Thurman, Logan and Megan Lepard, Keith, Hunter and Alyssa Smith and Austin Green; one brother, Floyd Baggett of Signal Mountain; several nieces and nephews. Our love and thanks to a special aunt and sister-in-law, Pat Baggett, for all her help in the care of our Mom.
