Fred Bodine

Fred J. Bodine, a former Chattanooga resident, passed away in Los Angeles, Calif. He graduated from Chattanooga High School and was a United States Army veteran. He returned to Chattanooga after serving in the Army and worked with TVA. He became active in the Little Theater and was a member of the Theaters Hall of Fame. He later moved to California, earning his bachelor's degree in music and art from U.C.L.A. He retired from IBM. He is survived by three nieces, Janey Sherrell, Judy Coleman and Sue Bradley. A private graveside service will be conducted on Monday, June 9, 2014, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors. Central Funeral Home, 931-723-7774.
