Frank Sellers

LaFAYETTE Francis J. "Frank" Sellers, 84, died Sunday, June 8, 2014, in his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Sellers was formerly of Brookline, Westford Maine, and New Salem, Ga. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, in WWII, Korea, and Viet Nam, retiring in 1969. Mr. Sellers worked at Emerson Hospital in Concord, Mass., retiring in 1985 and Hutcheson Medical Center (Tri County Hospital) in Fort Oglethorpe. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Francis "Larry" Sellers and Mary MacDonald Sellers, of Brookline Mass.; a sister, Mary Virginia Sellers, of NYC; and daughter, Kathleen Elizabeth Sellers, of Rising Fawn, Ga.; brothers-in-law, Clifton E. Cagle, and Roderick K. Canterbury, both of Rising Fawn. Mr. Sellers is survived by his wife, Margaret E. "Peggy" (Kenimer) Sellers of LaFayette; son, Francis J. "Jerry" Sellers, Jr., of Benedicta, Maine; Jeff and Mary Davis, of Hendersonville Tenn., and their children; and daughter, Mary Ann Sellers, of LaFayette; a sister, Margaret "Margie" Fitzpatrick, of Toledo, Ohio, and her children; sister, Catherine and David Wells, of Peabody, Maine, and their children; and brother, Thomas G. and Sheila Sellers of California; and their children; sisters-in-law, Virginia Ann Cagle, of Rising Fawn and her children, and Judy Canterbury, of Rising Fawn; and her children. In lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to "Life Choice Hospice" in LaFayette, Ga., Boys Town USA, Disabled Veterans Fund of your choice, or Navajo Relief Fund. The family would like to give special thanks to the Life Choice Hospice for their caring and respectful service. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2014, in the chapel with Father David Carter officiating. Family will receive friends from 5 until service time.
