Dwight Payne Hubert "Dwight" Payne, 62, East Ridge, died Friday, June 13, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga-North Georgia area and worked as a vice president for Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union with over 30 years of service. He is preceded in death by his father; Hubert Payne, brothers; Larry and Ronald Payne. Survivors include wife of 14 years, Kathy Payne; mother, Catherine Roberts, East Ridge; son, Michael Payne, Ringgold, Ga.; daughter; Stefanie Payne Hawkesworth, Ringgold; stepson, Andy Broome, McKinney, Texas; stepdaughter, Lauren Beihoffer, Kingston Springs, Ten.; grandchildren, Johnny Petty, Madison Tapp, Dalton Payne, and Matthew Spaulding; step-grandchildren, Zoe, Ellie, Sophie, and Maddie Broome, River, Avi, and Forest Beihoffer. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Greg Nash officiating. Entombment will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
