Emma Louise Hamby

Emma Louise Hamby, 79, of Ooltewah, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 14, 2014. She was a member of New Heights Baptist Church and was formerly employed with Olan Mills and Hall's Lifetime Toys. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and three brothers. Survivors are her husband, Harold Hamby; daughter, Lisa (Joel) Crawford, Graysville, Ga.; three sons, Mike (Karen) Hamby, Dayton, Tenn., Rev. Dan (Gwen) Hamby, Ringgold, Ga.; and Paul Hamby, Chattanooga; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel with the Rev. Dan Hamby and the Rev. Bob Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South with Rev. Joel Crawford II officiating at the graveside. Memorial contributions may be made to New Heights Baptist Church Mission Fund, 158 Ooltewah Ringgold Road, Ringgold, GA 30736.
