Shelia Gains

LaFAYETTE Shelia Imogene Reece Gains, 67, of LaFayette, formerly of Summerville, died Monday, June 16, 2014. Preceded in death by her husband, George William Gaines Sr.; parents, Rev. Charles Eugene and Lola Bell Perry Reece; sister, Katherine Collins; and brother, Charles Parrish. Survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Imojean (Hugh) McKissick and Lynn (John) McCormack, all of LaFayette; son, George Gaines Jr., of LaFayette; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside service in Greenhills Memory Gardens in Summerville at 8 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. W.C. Pence and Rev. Leroy McKissick officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. today. The arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
