Norman Graham

Norman Thomas Graham, 82, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014. He was born in Chavies, Ala., to the late James Melvin and Willie Brooks Graham and was of the Baptist faith. Norman served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was the owner/operator of Graham Trucking & Graham Southern Tours. He was also preceded in death by three wives, Phoebe Coffey Graham, Peggy Sue Brown Graham and Barbara Gasaway Graham; sisters, Nettie Jones, Irene York, Doris Williams and Lena Ruth Graham; and brother, Obie Graham. Norman is survived by his children, Alan (Jennifer) Graham, of Chattanooga, Michael Graham, of Chattanooga, Terry (Beverly) Graham, of Fort Oglethorpe, Susie (Joey) Martin, of Castalian Springs, Tenn. and Jennie Graham, of Gallatin, Tenn.; loving friend and companion, Linda McKissick; grandchildren, Elizabeth Martin, Sarah Martin, Elizabeth Graham DeVaughn, Michelle Voyles and Amber Graham; great-grandchildren, Brenna Voyles and Brogan Voyles; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Denny Manning officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 1 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and prior to the service on Monday. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home-Wallis-Stewart Chapel.
