Jesse Minton

Jesse C. Minton, 92, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 20, 2014. He was a loyal member of the Freedom Worship Center. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 70 years, Elouise; daughter, Linda Mathis; parents, Fannie and Bill Minton; brothers, Slater and Jim Minton; sister, Edith Nance; grandson, Brian Turner; granddaughter, Tina Elsea; and great -granddaughter, Natalie Sitton. He left behind to cherish his memory daughters, Carolyn Turner, June Phillips, Patsy (Jim) Elrod; very special grandson, Mark Mathis; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 23, at Freedom Worship Center, 1150 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, Tenn., with Pastor Mike Battles officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home today, June 22, from 2-9 p.m. Condolences and memories can be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.
