Jimmie Lou Keith

Jimmie Lou Keith, 98, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 22, 2014, at a local health care facility. Jimmie was a member of Bayside Baptist Church. She was born in Jackson County, Ala., June 23, 1915 to Lawrence and Emma Allie Abercrombie. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James A. Keith. Jimmie is survived by her two sons Lester (Alma) Keith, of Signal Mountain, Frank (Evelyn) Keith, of Ringgold; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to longtime caregivers, Patty Whittemore, Dr. Stanley Ireland and NHC Healthcare of Fort Oglethorpe. Graveside services will be held at noon Wednesday, June 25, 2014, in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Rev. Grady Cooper officiating.
