Clyde Malcomb

Clyde B. Malcomb, 70, of Chattanooga, formerly of Tioga, W.Va., died Monday, June 23, 2014 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. Born Sept. 17, 1943, at Richwood, W.Va., he was the son of the late Dolan and Geraldine Jarvis Malcomb. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Patty J. Malcomb; and siblings, Treka Booher, Macel Boggs, Mary Ann Mullins, Ronnie Malcomb, Nola Malcomb and George "Joe" Malcomb. He was an Army veteran and was retired from GM at Baltimore, Md. Survivors include his siblings, Phyllis Williams, of Baltimore, Md., Hilda Boggs, of Richwood, W.Va., Glenda Johnston, of Clifton Forge, Va, Clorda Mullins, of Tioga, W.Va., James Malcomb, of Walbash, Ind., Lola Kirk, of Chattanooga, Edith Rodebaugh, of Craigsville, W.Va., and Lucy Spencer, of Clifton Forge, Va. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2014, in the Tioga House of Prayer at Tioga, W.Va. with Pastor Bob Friend officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery at Tioga. Friends may call at the church one-hour prior to the services on Saturday. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.
