Anna Ruth Bratten, 81, of East Ridge, passed away on June 21, 2014, at her residence following a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Paul Donald Bratten; her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jai Mehta; her son and daughter-in-law, Isaac and Laura Clarkson; her son, Benjamin Clarkson; and her much loved feline friend, BAC. Anna was a loving wife, mother and friend to many. For many years, Mrs. Bratten was employed by the Tick-Tock Restaurant in East Ridge. She will be greatly missed by all. A memorial service will be held at the Crosspaths at East Ridge Church (formally known as East Ridge Baptist Church). The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. this Saturday, June 28.
