Pamela Ferguson

Pamela Lynn Ferguson, 47, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014, at her residence. Born in Miami, Florida on March 2, 1967, she has been a resident of Chattanooga since 1977 when she moved to Chattanooga with her family. She graduated from Hixson High School and later became a registered nurse after graduating from Chattanooga State. She will be remembered for her beautiful voice by all who were inspired by her gift. She was a member of Hixson First Baptist Church and continued to trust and love her Lord through several years of disability. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wilda and Henry Burberry and Clara and George Bethel, and her beloved mother, Dorothy Bethel. She loved her children, David, Megan, and Lily Ramsey and Cameron Ferguson. She was especially loved by her husband of 15 years, Mitchell Ferguson. She is also survived by her brothers, Gary (Joanna) Bethel of McDonald and Kenneth Bethel of Sunrise, Fla.; a granddaughter, Kat and her father, George Bethel of Hixson; two nieces and a nephew. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace. A visitation will follow immediately after the service.
