Luke Barnett

Luke Norman Barnett, 51, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. He was raised in Bell County, Ky., but has lived in the North Georgia area for the last 25 years. He was the Operations Manager for Custom Communications Inc. and always enjoyed being a true business man. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted son, husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, J.R. Barnett; and granddaughter, Serenity Jane Salvador. Survivors include his mother, Margie Robbins, of Pineville, Ky.; loving wife of more than 16 years, Glenda Sue Barnett, of Ringgold, Ga.; children, Brandon Keith Bradford, of Lincolnton, Ga., Heather Nicole (Matthew) Salvador, of Ringgold, Matthew Luke Barnett, of Corbin, Ky., Jessica LaRae Barnett, of Williamsburg, Ky., and Ciarra Elizabeth Barnett, of Ringgold, Ga.; sister, Nancy Lou (Charles) Claxton, of Calhoun, Ga.; three grandchildren, Madison Grace Salvador, Matthew Damien Salvador and Jaydon Matthew Luke Barnett; two aunts, Lola Baker and Mable Hendrickson, both of Pineville, Ky.; special friends, Tim Nabel and Chris Arbertina and numerous extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Elder John Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Lakewood East Memory Gardens.
