Rebecca Saffell, 84, passed away Saturday morning, March 1, 2014, at Wellington Place Assisted Living in Athens. Daughter of the late Sameul H. and Virginia Hope Saffell and preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas J. Saffell and Sameul H. Saffell Jr. Memorial Graveside service will be held at noon Friday, March 7, 2014, at Green Hill Cemetery with Pastor Aaron Pierce officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
