Lillian Steele

Lillian Adkins Steele, 96, passed away early Wednesday morning March 5, 2014, at Dade Health & Rehab Center. She was a member of Rising Fawn Baptist Church. Mrs. Steele was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Steele; her parents, Jess and Cornelia Adkins; brother, Robert Adkins; sisters, Hassie Ramsey and Martha Adkins. She is survived by her son, Gary (Deloris) Steele, Trenton; daughters, Annette (Floyd) Craig, Lookout Valley, Tenn.; Sandra (Jerry) Wheeler, and Hannah (Kenny) Rogers, both of Trenton; and Lynda Crane, Nashville; brother, J.W. Adkins, Flintstone, Ga.; sister, Edna Blevins, Trenton; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Dade Health & Rehab Center for all the love and tender care they have given our precious Mother and family for the past 11 years. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014, in the chapel with Rev. Tommy Crider officiating. Interment will be in Hanna Cemetery.
