Jimmy Robinson Sr.

Jimmy "Red" Robinson Sr., 71, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014. He owned and operated Robinson Used Cars, along with many other businesses and property ventures. He loved his animals, especially his Cat "Granny Grump" and dog "Peanut". He attended Bryant Church of God. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Sue Robinson and her son Tim Avans; and his first wife, Helen Robinson; sister Betty Robinson Smith, and mother Audrey Turner Guffey. Survivors include his son Jimmy Darrell Robinson Jr., Lake Worth, Fla. and Rio de Janeiro; daughter Denise Robinson, West Palm Beach, Fla.; Neal Avans, Higdon; brother, William Dwan Robinson, Bushnell, Fla.; niece, Patty Smith Layne, and a host of friends. Funeral service will be 3 p.m. EST Saturday in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Shirley Byrum officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Park.
