Dennis Nunley

Dennis Earl Nunley age 58, was born in Whitwell, Tenn., April 6, 1955 to James Earl and Ollie Mae Campbell Nunley. Dennis was a hard worker. He spent many years in the coal mining field. For the last fourteen years he was an employee of Whitwell Elementary School. He will be missed by both the staff and children. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Oma Nunley and Louis and Lula Campbell; and great nephew, Eli Campbell. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Phyllis Johnson Nunley; son, Dennis "Meanie" (Glenna) Nunley Jr.; daughter, Holly Nunley; two loving grandsons, Sam and Ethan Nunley; sister, Rhonda Nunley; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, a special brother, Tom ; and many friends. Family will receive friends noon-8 p.m., today, March 9, 2014. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jim Troyer and Robert Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
