Buddy Adams

Amos Allen "Buddy" Adams, 80, of Chattanooga, died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at his home. Buddy was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was a retired electrician from TVA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army. Buddy was a son of the late Charlie and Dovie Massengale Adams and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Carolyn Adams; two brothers, Bob Adams, Charlie "Sparky" Adams Jr.; two sisters, Judy Ritchie and Ruby Meade. Survivors include his wife, Martha Jo Skipper Adams; son, Mark Adams, East Ridge; four daughters, Laura Mills, Cleveland; Lisa Adams, Kim Adams and Dina Adams, all of Chattanooga; Vanita Lerma, California; sisters, Lorene Jones, Melbourne, Fla.; Ruth Minter, Crofton, Md.; 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Minister Brian Ceraolo officiating. Military Honors will be conducted for Mr. Adams. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
