Charlie Bell

Charlie Bell, 63, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, in a local hospital. He was the assistant minister and musician for Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a mason with Lillie White Lodge #284. Survivors: ex-wife, Bernice Bell; daughter, Adrienne Bell; grandchildren, Shaquilla James and Courvoisier Bell; great-grandchildren, Raphael White and Cire Hester; brothers, Cleveland (Renna) Bell Jr., Leon (Barbara) Bell, Leroy (Sharon) Bell and John Bell; sisters, Vashti McDonald, Mae Lizzie (Calvin) Woods and Sandra Rice; a host of other relatives and friends. The body will lie-in-state at 10 a.m. on Friday with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Burial: Tyner Cemetery.
