Mildred Price

Mildred Louise Price, 81, a resident of Hixson, passed away on Monday March 10, 2014. She was born on Dec. 12, 1932, to the late Oscar and Katherine Baker. She had been a resident of the Chattanooga area for the past 14 years. Mildred loved puzzles, music, and dancing. Above all things, however, she was a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde H. Price; and one sister, Margaret Widener. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Casey Price and wife, Luz, two grandchildren, Hunter and Victoria Price; sister, Rosella "Tootsie" Childress; and brother, Bob Baker. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. today, March 13, at Collegedale Community Church. A celebration of life service will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the church. Interment will be private at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
