Ronald Robinson Sr.

Ronald C. Robinson Sr., 66, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014, at his residence. He was a 1965 graduate of Howard High School, a member of Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church, and formerly employed by Combustion Engineering. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Robinson Sr.; brother, Thomas "Popeye" Robinson Jr.; father-in-law, Rev, William Pride; brother-in-law, Robert "Dusty" Dozier Sr. Survivors: wife, Clara Robinson; son, Ronald (Aletta) Robinson Jr.; daughters, Rhonda (Bone) Robinson and Tawana (Miquel) Hamilton; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; mother, Jewell Sparks; brother, James Robinson; sisters, Carolyn Dozier and Jacqueline (Louis) Casey; aunt, Mildred Gay; mother-in-law, Dorothy Pride, all of Chattanooga; several nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends. The body will lie-in-state at 10 a.m. today, March 13, 2014 with the funeral to follow at noon in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home.
