Donna Downey

Donna Yvonne Batey Downey, 54, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014. She was born in Stevenson, Ala., on May 14, 1959, was of the Baptist faith and she enjoyed the outdoors, especially, flower gardening. She was preceded in death by her father, Ed Batey. Survivors include her husband, Carl Downey, of Ringgold; mother, Vivian Batey, of Ringgold; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Young and Adam Gardner, of Fort Oglethorpe; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Misty Young, of LaFayette; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Barbara Batey, of Hollywood; sisters, Karen Moon, of Wildwood; Tammy Batey, of Ringgold; four grandchildren, Alyssa Ellis, Ryan Brackett, Casey and Tristan Mann.
