Taylor Bayless

Robert Taylor Bayless, 79, of Chattanooga, went to heaven on Thursday, March 13, 2014. He was born in Pikeville, Tenn., to the late Charles and Edna Bayless on July 9, 1934. In January, Taylor celebrated his 60th anniversary with his loving wife, Doris Bayless. Preceded in death by his brother, Herman Bayless, he is survived by his wife, Doris Bayless; his daughters, Sandy (Larry) Angel and Susie (Mike) Battles; his grandchildren, Wes (Jacqueline) Angel, Brandon Battles, Seth (Ashley) Battles; his brothers, Charles (Carolyn) Bayless, Ronny (Royce) Bayless, and Bill (Darlene) Bayless; his sisters, Lucille (Wade) Boring, Wanda (Jim) Bean, Elizabeth Bayless, Brenda (Herb) King, Deborah (Frank) Martin and Shirley (Paul) Haman. Taylor was an active member of Freedom Worship Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, March 16, with the Rev. Mike Battles officiating at Freedom Worship Center, 11150 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379. Burial will be at Pikeville Cemetery. Taylor, with his ever-present smile, was loved by all who knew him.
