Dolores Cobb

Dolores Austin Cobb, 84, of Chattanooga, died Monday, March 17, 2014. She was born Feb. 14, 1930 in Chattanooga, daughter of the late Roy and Flora Carlton. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Cobb; son, Carlton Cobb; brothers, Charles Lee Carlton and Jackie Lamar Carlton; and an aunt, Maude (Jimmy) Mobley. She attended Baroness Erlanger School of Nursing. Mrs. Cobb was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Survivors include children, Grant Cobb (Debbie Dietz) and Renee (Terry) Flatt; grandchildren, Britany Cobb (Wayne) Kelly, Tyler (Kristin) Cobb, Corey Cobb (Erika Tierce), Jace Flatt (Paige Chandler); great-grandchildren, Amber Kelly Bramblett, Autumn Kelly, Christian Kelly, Will Kelly and Wes Kelly; brothers, Robert John "R.J." Carlton and Jim (Beverly) Jordan. Family and friends will gather at 2 p.m. Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S. Moore Road. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday March 21, 2014, at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross 4115 S.
