Loretta Hardy

Loretta Westmoreland Hardy, 77, entered into the gates of heaven Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her mother, Viola Westmoreland; and sister, Henrietta McDaniel. She was a member of Grove Level Baptist Church and Joe Yarbroughs Sunday School Class. She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Hardy, of the residence; daughter, Marilynn Toinette Hardy, of Roswell; son-in-law, Martin Friedman, of New York; son, Charles Exter Hardy III, of Davis, Calif.; sister, Barbara OBryant, of Dalton; six grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Hardy will be held at 7 p.m. today, March 20, at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Exter Hardy III, Dr. Charlie Bridges and Rev. Tim Samples officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 until the service time at 7 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial contributions be made to Grove Level Baptist Church - "Rise up to the Vision", Dalton Women's Enrichment Center, or Gideon's North Camp, P.O.
