Anna Keeler
Ann Gene Keeler, 96, of Collegedale, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at the home she shared with her daughter. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Born June 12, 1917 in Plymouth, Pa., Mrs. Keeler spent most of her life in Maryland as a wife and homemaker and worked for 17 years at the Review & Herald Publishing Association. She was preceded in death by her brother, Homer Suhr; sister, Trovilla McNally; husband, Loredo Keeler and daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Lester Kilmer Jr. Survivors are her daughter, Juanita Keeler; granddaughters, Laurie (David) Lyon and Sharon (Eddie) Hodges; great-granddaughters, Michelle (Sean) Buffaloe and Allison Martin; great-great-grandchildren, Caitlin Ridley, Hannah, Amberly and Sean Buffaloe Jr; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Inurnment is at 3 p.m. today, March 23, at Hamblen Memory Gardens in Morristown, Tenn. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 30, at Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to ADRA.org or Maranatha.org. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road.
