Donald Franklin Hale, 91, of Chattanooga died Friday, March 21, 2014, in a local healthcare center. A longtime resident of Chattanooga, Mr. Hale was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. after 33 years of service. He was a World War II Veteran of the US Navy and was a member of the VFW. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Darcina Hale. Survivors are his daughter, Sandy Hale, Collegedale; son, Donald F. Hale II, San Jose, Calif.; sister, Audrey Nordeman, Orange County, Calif.; grandchildren, Kim (Justin) Braddock, Ringgold, Ga.; and Carson (Kyle) Barrett, Medford, Ore.; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
